About Pinewood Springs

Pinewood Springs is an unincorporated community located near the midway point between Estes Park and Lyons. Nestled on the slopes of a high valley, this mountain village enjoys a close-knit community, seclusion, beautiful views, and easy access to Estes Park and the Front Range.

Pinewood Springs Real Estate

Pinewood Springs’ proximity to both the mountains and the city make real estate here a great choice for people who want to get away from it all, but still have easy access to urban areas. Beautiful views and a close-knit community make properties in this area desirable.

Dining and Shopping

For casual dining all day long, you’ll find locals at the Colorado Cherry Company, enjoying locally made ciders, pies, pastries, and more. For lunch or dinner, enjoy a meal at Villa Tatra, featuring smoked fish and Eastern European cuisine.

Pinewood Springs students attend schools in the Estes Park School District. Bus transportation is available.  The district serves grades K-12, with about 1,200 students total in the elementary, middle, and high schools.  There is also an enrichment program for homeschooled students.

Plentiful wildlife, beautiful views, and the sounds of the river are your best bets for entertainment in Pinewood Springs, but both Estes Park and Lyons are a short drive away, with all that those towns have to offer.

The Estes Park Medical Center is the closest medical facility to Pinewood Springs, and provides medical and surgical services, obstetrics, home health and hospice services, a 24-hour emergency department, and a 24-hour Advanced Life Support Ambulance Service. It is designated as a Level IV Trauma Center, and board-certified physicians in many different specialities are available.

The residents of Pinewood Springs can use both the Estes Valley Library and the Lyons Regional Library.
