Pinewood Springs is an unincorporated community located near the midway point between Estes Park and Lyons. Nestled on the slopes of a high valley, this mountain village enjoys a close-knit community, seclusion, beautiful views, and easy access to Estes Park and the Front Range.

Schools

Pinewood Springs students attend schools in the Estes Park School District. Bus transportation is available.  The district serves grades K-12, with about 1,200 students total in the elementary, middle, and high schools.  There is also an enrichment program for homeschooled students.

Entertainment

Plentiful wildlife, beautiful views, and the sounds of the river are your best bets for entertainment in Pinewood Springs, but both Estes Park and Lyons are a short drive away, with all that those towns have to offer.

Medical Facilities

The Estes Park Medical Center is the closest medical facility to Pinewood Springs, and provides medical and surgical services, obstetrics, home health and hospice services, a 24-hour emergency department, and a 24-hour Advanced Life Support Ambulance Service. It is designated as a Level IV Trauma Center, and board-certified physicians in many different specialities are available.

Library

The residents of Pinewood Springs can use both the Estes Valley Library and the Lyons Regional Library.

Commute

Pinewood Springs is conveniently located about 20 minutes from Estes Park, 15 minutes from Lyons, and about 40 minutes from Boulder. It’s a great choice for those who wish to commute to the big city, but enjoy the mountain lifestyle.
