About Glen Haven

Glen Haven is an unincorporated community about 7 miles north of Estes Park via Devil’s Gulch Road. The downtown portion is located in a narrow valley along the north fork of the Big Thompson River.

Although parts of the community were heavily damaged in the 2013 floods, this resilient community is dedicated to rebuilding their once vibrant downtown.

The Glen Haven General Store survived the flood, and is still serving up their famous homemade cinnamon rolls daily in the summer.

Glen Haven Real Estate

If you’re looking for a vacation home or just want to get away from it all, Glen Haven Real Estate is an excellent choice.  Stunning beauty and seclusion make properties in this area ideal. “The Retreat” is a popular community in this area.

Dining and Shopping

The Glen Haven General Store is the spot for both dining and shopping in Glen Haven. Open throughout the summer, this popular stop features a variety of homemade treats, baked from scratch daily, plus breakfast, lunch, and 25 cent coffee. Shop for home furnishings and other goods while you’re there.

Glen Haven students attend schools in the Estes Park School District. Bus transportation is available.  The district serves grades K-12, with about 1,200 students total in the elementary, middle, and high schools.  There is also an enrichment program for homeschooled students.

Plentiful wildlife, beautiful views, and the sounds of the river are your best bets for entertainment in Glen Haven.
