Meeker Park is an unincorporated community about 12 miles south of Estes Park via CO Hwy 7. Homes in this area are secluded and private, often with stunning views of Longs Peak and/or Mount Meeker.

Schools
Meeker Park students attend schools in the Estes Park School District. Bus transportation is available. The district serves grades K-12, with about 1,200 students total in the elementary, middle, and high schools. There is also an enrichment program for homeschooled students.

Medical Facilities
The Estes Park Medical Center is the closest medical facility to Meeker Park, and provides medical and surgical services, obstetrics, home health and hospice services, a 24-hour emergency department, and a 24-hour Advanced Life Support Ambulance Service. It is designated as a Level IV Trauma Center, and board-certified physicians in many different specialities are available.

Commute
Meeker Park is about 20 minutes from Estes Park, and about an hour from Boulder. Because many of the homes in this area are fairly isolated, these commute times can be somewhat longer.

Dining and Shopping
The Meeker Park Lodge, operated by the same family since 1922, has a small grocery store, laundromat, and stables.
Eagle Plume’s, in business since 1917, is a unique and authentic Indian experience.
Just a few minutes away is Allenspark, offering more dining and shopping opportunities.

Parks and Recreation
The Wild Basin area of Rocky Mountain National Park and the Longs Peak Trailhead are easily accessed from Meeker Park. Trails in the Arapaho National Forest also depart from this area.
While you’re here, be sure to stop by the stunning Chapel on the Rock, a beautiful stone chapel operated by the local Catholic church. The Chapel was visited by Pope John Paul II in the 1990s.
